“Let me help you elevate your favorite brunch drink with some fresh herbs. If you’re like me, you’ve probably had your fair share of traditional mimosas and are ready to turn things up a notch. So I decided to put a fresh spin on a classic. This time I’ve combined mango juice with homemade basil syrup to give you a tropical, herbaceous take on brunch’s most popular libation. Cheers!”

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces mango juice

  • 1 ounce basil simple syrup*

  • Your favorite sparkling wine (i.e. prosecco, cava, champagne

Basil Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves

Get Shaking

For Basil Simple Syrup

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan

  2. Cook on medium heat until it begins to boil

  3. Remove from heat and let cool

  4. Strain

  5. Stir mango juice and basil syrup together in a glass

  6. Top with your favorite sparkling wine

  7. Enjoy!
