Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
6 medium Yukon Gold Potatoes
2 cups Half and Half
½ stick of Butter
Salt
Garlic
Salt
White Pepper
Thyme
Chives (for platting!)
Get Cooking
Yields 3-4 Servings | Cook Time: 90 minutes
Turn on oven to 425 degrees
Prick potatoes with fork and place in baking pan with foil covering them
Bake for one hour
While the potatoes are baking, pour half-and-half in a saucepan with an abundance of butter, thyme, and smashed garlic
After one hour remove potatoes and smash them in a bowl; I use a potato riser, but use any method you prefer
Pour half-and-half mixture over the smashed potatoes and add salt and white pepper to your taste
Mix, mix, mix!
Plate with chives and ENJOY!
