Bruleed Orange Old Fashioned
Ingredients
¼ oz Burnt orange syrup*
*In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of brown sugar with 1 cup of water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add 1 cup of bruleed orange wedges and bring the mixture to a low boil. Once boiling, turn down heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and strain into a glass container.
2 oz dark rum
2 dashes lemon or orange bitters
Method
In a glass with ice, add all ingredients
Stir until dissolved
Garnish with a bruleed orange wedge
