Bruleed Orange Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • ¼ oz Burnt orange syrup*

    *In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of brown sugar with 1 cup of water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add 1 cup of bruleed orange wedges and bring the mixture to a low boil. Once boiling, turn down heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and strain into a glass container. 

  • 2 oz dark rum

  • 2 dashes lemon or orange bitters

Method

  • In a glass with ice, add all ingredients

  • Stir until dissolved

  • Garnish with a bruleed orange wedge
